MightyMinds2012（Kedah States Challenge)

            This year's Mighty Minds is shocking and surprising. The judges aren't the ones who are changed, the competitions standard also changed too. This year it's more on linguistics and general knowledge. The Science and Maths questions are down to 3~5% of the questions. More on linguistics in the sense that there are Grammar Rules and Vocab questions, but the general knowledge is still the same. For example,

The  Hands-On Challenge titles for this year 2012 Mighty Minds Challenge for Kedah State are

LOWER SECONDARY : Design and construct a Mother's Day gift that has the following features [a] a swiveling mechanism [b] two tiers or levels and [c] a multi-purpose function.

UPPER SECONDARY : Design and construct a model of a ceiling hanger or rack. This can be used either to dry clothes inside a laundry area on a rainy day or for any other purpose as you see fit.
