Mighty Minds Challenge is an amazing and outstanding competition. It brings you to a whole new perspect of your knowledge in KBKK. In there you must face many tough challenge which are heart killing challenge, in order to play safe in these challenge you must equip yourself with selfesteem, confident, bravery, fabulous skills of speaking, maniac minds of Science, lightning speed of Mathematics skills. ( Just kidding, don't be overcome by the bombastic words)
One must learn about the recent hot issues from the news, Science for KBKK and other general application of Science ( including Biology, Physics,Chemistry , especially for the Upper Category , the F4F5.) , Mathematics for KBKK(Modern Maths and Add Maths) and some other tricks for problem solving, Geography, IT facts, Banking facts, Sports, History , and Entertainments too. Wow !! It did looks tough actually but I think everyone can do it just a bit of luck.
History for the MightyMinds State Challenge:
1st year : there are 3 stages,
> the Multiple Choice Questions ( MCQ ) - an elimination round to select the top 15 teams
> the Hands-On Challenge - an elimination round to get the top 5 teams
> the Oral Presentation ( this year's oral presentation ( 2009) was carried at the table of each qualifiied teams from the Hands-On challenge )
2nd year : there are 4 stages
>the MCQ- elimination round , select the top 15 teams
>the Hands-On Challenge - elimination round to get the top 5 teams
> the Oral Presentation ( this year's oral presentation (2010) was carried out on a stage ---- the required topics of the model are :
~the Science and Maths concept used in the model
~Test and Commisioning your model
~the Uniqueness of your model
~Ways to improve your model
~How to commercialise your model
> the Quiz Buzzer ----(There are 15 Question, first 9 Questions are answer individually and in order, the last 6 Questions were answered with teamwork.) There are marks deducted for this year's Quiz Buzzer.
3rd year : there are 4 stages
>the MCQ- elimination round , select the top 15 teams
>the Hands-On Challenge - elimination round to get the top 5 teams
> the Oral Presentation ( this year's oral presentation (2011) was
carried out on a stage ---- the required topics of the model are :
~the Science and Maths concept used in the model

> the Quiz Buzzer ----(There are 15 Question, first 9 Questions are

with teamwork.) There are no marks deducted for the first try , but marks are deducted for the second try for this year's Quiz Buzzer.
This year (2011) is my first year to enter the Grand Final of MightyMinds Challenge, and here goes the schedule fo the National Challenge:
1st day :
>Hands-On Challenge---30%--2 hours ( there is one short oral presentation(1 min) carried out at each teams' table)
>Minds-On Challenge---10% ( this challenge require your problem solving skills ) You need to explain how you get the answer and the answer )
> MCQ----20%(all the team members were separated into three group, everyone must answer the quesiton individually, 1 person of the team correct get 10 marks, 2 persons of the team correct get 20 marks, and all the members of the team correct you will get bonus mark , 5points, and thus you will get 35 marks for that single question) the total marks scored in the MCQ must be divided by 35 to get the percentage earned from the MCQ
2nd day:
>Oral Presentation--20% ( this part very challengeing, the top 5 qualified teams must make their oral presentation using PowerPoint Presentation on stage, and the time given was 5 minutes , the requirement is the same and the State Challenge )
> Quiz Buzzer---20% ( same as the State Challenge )
