YOKOHAMA Science Frontier High School 27 Oct 2011

Hi ! Everyone nice to meet you guys again. Well this event is quite interesting. However I hope you weren't mislead by the title above saying that " YOKOHAMA high school " which means I was in Japan. ^.^ Actually this event was held in USM, Pulau Pinang, at Peninsular Malaysia. Do you know that actually the organiser only invited four schools from Penang? And , well, you might wonder why I'm able to attend this event, a workshop actually. Frankly speaking, I was told by my school teacher about this upcoming event because her daughter is in USM too. As I am interested in Science , so I decided to join in, and I did it secretly , somehow it just didn't turns out to be a secret at all.
At first my dad and I tend to sit at the back and pretend to be one of the audience without the organiser's notice. Due to my dad's formal suits, so he was mistaken as  one of the invited teacher who named Lim by the Prof. Rahim. Though our cover was being exposed, he still smile at us, and moreover, he also invited my dad to sit with the teachers or the VIP. >,<
More interesting is that at there I was, seriously, the only one from Kedah and the only representative of my school, it's kinda' like an honour to be there ><. the organiser was very happy to know that there was a person from Kedah to manage to join them in this event. I will show you some of the pictures before the event started.

Those how sat at the centre in front , that two row of students are from Japan. They were the ones who gave us presentation on what they have found in their research , rather an experimental report.

This is the agenda for this event.
I was impressed by their presentation. Although their English command not that good but their knowledge perhaps message were show on their slides clearly. Do you what, they actually aren't high school students compared to we Malaysia's high school students, they actually have some command on the knowledge that we so called university knowledge. For example, one of the students do actually find the formulae and prove for the oscilations of the pendulum and knowing what are the error of many aspects. That's what we Malaysia kind'a lack of. Somehow we can't deny that we don't have that kind of facilities for student's to carry out such advance research and experiments.
Below here are some photos of their presentation slides, I hope you won't be dumbfounded>< joking~~

After every 7 presentations , there was a small break for us, the first break , something interesting yet funny happened, we were led by a girl form the university. She had taught us to do some exercise. but however it turned out to be a kind of dance. haha><. It's fun .
